Features and Improvements 🌟

  • You can now display product images on order invoices. To take advantage of this option, go to Settings > Config Variables and click Search. In the Name field, type “invoices”. Click the blue Search button. On the results page, in the Enable Product Photos on Invoices row, select the Value column and save.
  • You can now go to the categories list view by default instead of the drag & drop sorter. To take advantage of this option, go to Inventory > Categories > View List > three-dot more actions menu icon > Category View Settings, select Category List, and save.
  • When you wanted to create a new custom article, you had to go to Design > Site Content > View List to access the Add button. You can now click add from Site Content (without having to press View List first).
  • We made it easier to access the API. Formerly, you had to go to Inventory > Import/Export > Volusion API. You can now go to Inventory > Volusion API.
  • We made it easier to access page text articles. Formerly, you had to go to Design > Site Content, access the Article Group menu, and select PageText. You can now go to Design > Page Text.
  • At Customers > CRM System, we moved the Batch Action menu from below the table viewer to above it so that it’s always visible and easily accessible.

Bug Fixes 🐜

  • In some scenarios, anonymous shoppers were able to check out without selecting a shipping method. We fixed this issue.
  • We fixed the following issues with products that had null stock status values:
  1. Importing or entering a negative stock status value on the product edit page failed to update the value, and the event recorded incorrectly in the Stock History table.
  2. Importing a value of 0 failed to update the stock status, and the event didn’t record in the Stock History table at all.
  • We also now ensure that when you save a null value in the stock status field, the Stock History table records the event.
  • For products using or used in the Link Stock Status with Product Code field, stock status updates made through non-primary methods didn’t calculate properly. We disabled or now ignore all stock status updates for products using this feature except through the primary method (the stock status field on the parent product’s edit page).
  • When a product had a vendor price and an option with a vendor price difference, the reporting tool ignored the option’s vendor price difference. We fixed this issue.
  • For merchants using the current PayPal Express integration, we removed the Admin Area PayPal Upgrade Config Variables link at Settings > Payment > More Payment Types. This was a redundant UI element providing the same functionality as the Alternative Settings link in the same location.
  • When administrators enabled more than one PayPal integration at once (Standard, Express legacy, Express updated), various display issues occurred on the checkout page and in the Admin Area at Settings > Payment > More Payment Types. We fixed this issue.
  • When Google Maps failed to find the location of an order’s shipping address, the Fraud Insights details page showed no content. We added friendly error messaging to the Interactive Map section of the page, and the error no longer prevents other data from loading.
  • On the Admin Area Dashboard, we updated the Release Notes link to go to the correct location.
  • On the QuickBooks Web Connector page, we updated the version of the program that downloads (now 2.2) and the descriptive text that accompanies the Download button.
  • We fixed an HTML formatting issue at Settings > Payment that interfered with administrator connection to Stripe in some cases.
  • Administrators were unable to delete orders dated after their store received its upgrade to Fraud Insights. We fixed this issue.
  • To circumvent spam filtering by some email hosts, all password reset emails now come from Password_Assistance@domain (with the store’s actual domain name taking the place of “domain”). We also appended “DO NOT REPLY” to the subject line.
  • Our administrator password requirements now consider any character other than a letter, a number, or a space to be a special character.
  • When stores using Auto-Update Product Price have options with a negative price difference (price reduction), the automatic update added the value to the total. It now subtracts the value from the total.
  • Our automatic tax functionality always rounded up when the amount wasn’t a full cent, and it calculated on each line item in the cart. It now rounds down appropriately when the amount is less than half a cent, and only calculates on the full cart subtotal.
