What’s better than using your store’s tracking number options to record info for orders shipped via FedEx, UPS or DHL? Entering the data into each column in the tracking numbers table! 😜 This makes it super easy to import and export it later using your store’s Import/Export tool.
When viewing the details of an order, you can manually enter the information under the Shipping/Tracking Numbers section. Besides the required TrackingNumber column, make sure to also fill in the following fields:
- Gateway
- OrderID
- Shipment_Cost
- ShippingMethodID
To speed up the process (because ⏰ is 💰, right?!), you can enter the tracking info for each order into this downloadable .csv spreadsheet and import it into your store all at once, like so:
- Go to Inventory > Import/Export and select Standard Import
- From the Import To menu, select TrackingNumbers
- Browse and find the file on your computer
- Select Yes, Replace any Existing Data with my New Updated Data
- Click Import
Easy. Efficient. Ecommerce. #FTW
