Social media has gone from that thing those crazy kids did 😜 to a powerful marketing tool to get the word out about your brand and products. These days, it’s almost essential to have a Facebook and Twitter page (at the very least) as well as others, such as Instagram and Pinterest.
Sure, it can take a lot of work to create a thoughtful social media strategy and to crank out content regularly. We help make it easier by allowing you to post to Facebook and Twitter directly from your Product and Category pages.
Start sharing in four easy steps:
From a Product or Category page in your Admin Area, open the three-dot actions menu and select Share.
2. Sign In to your Facebook and/or Twitter account, depending on which social media platform you want to post to. In the message box, a shortened (bit.ly) version of the URL for your category or product displays automatically in the Share window.
3. Write a brief message before or after the shortened URL. Keep in mind that Twitter limits you to just 140 character, including any urls. If you would like, you can post a shorter message to Twitter, and a separate longer message to Facebook.
4. Click Submit to display your post on your connected social pages.
Social media is a great way to engage your customers and establish a rapport with them. Get to know what they like with polls (“Which color do you like better?”). Ask them for commentary on your products (“When you wear our boho blouse, what does it say about you?”). And let them know about new products and promotions (SALE!).
