There are a lot of ways to customize Live Chat to better fit your business. In addition to features like proactive chat, agent alerts, and transcript delivery, you can also customize your chat window’s appearance by adding your own logo.
The first thing you need is a logo image. The image must be 330 pixels by 50 pixels, and should be in .PNG format with a transparent background. Once you have a logo image ready to use with Live Chat, you can upload it to your store through your FTP account. To learn more about using FTP with your Volusion store, visit support.volusion.com and search for "FTP."
When you’re ready to add your logo to the Live Chat window, go to Design > File Editor in your Volusion Admin Area and click template.html in the Shortcuts menu on the right. Scroll down to the Live Chat code, then insert the following lines of script directly below the line that says // Place your Volusion Live Chat JS API code below:
Be sure to replace "INSERTURLHERE" with the file path to your logo image. When you’re finished, click Save.
Your logo should now appear in your Live Chat window for your customers to see.
