Are you using your store’s tracking number options to record tracking number info for orders being shipped via FedEx, UPS or DHL? If yes, that’s great! But what’s even better is to record them by entering the appropriate data into each column in the tracking numbers table. It makes it super easy to import and export the data later using your store’s Import/Export tool.

When viewing the details of an order, you can manually enter the information under the Shipping/Tracking Numbers section. Besides the required TrackingNumber column, make sure to also fill in the following fields, at minimum:

  • Gateway
  • OrderID
  • Shipment_Cost
  • ShippingMethodID

If you want to speed up the process, you can do so by entering the tracking info for each order into this downloadable .csv spreadsheet and importing it into your store all at once, like so:

  1. Go to Inventory > Import/Export and select Standard Import
  2. From the Import To menu, select TrackingNumbers
  3. Browse and find the file on your computer
  4. Select Yes, Replace any Existing Data with my New Updated Data
  5. Click Import

Easy. Efficient. Ecommerce. #FTW
