When sending an invoice, you’ll want to make sure you’re communicating as clearly as possible. After all, you want to be paid the correct amount, right?!  💰💰💰

To make invoices easier to read (and pay!), you can enlarge the font size of the text up to 20 pixels high. 🔤

⚠️  Good to Know:

  • Before you start supersizing the text on your invoices, you’ll want to have a solid understanding of CSS coding
  • If you change the font size on one invoice, it will affect all of your invoices
  • While we LOVE supporting you, we can’t offer assistance with CSS or HTML (We recommend turning to your in-house programmer or hiring a contractor)

Your store has a special website text article that can be used to modify invoices:

1. Go to Design > Site Content in your Admin Area.

2. Click View List in the top right corner of the page, click Search, enter "84" into the ID field, and click Search again.

3. Click the article ID 84 (Receipt.asp).

4. Leave the Article Title and Article Caption fields blank.

5. Click the HTML button in the Easy Editor toolbar above the Article Body, then enter your CSS markup in the Article Body field. This will override the default CSS values of your store's invoices. For example, you can enter this CSS code to change the font used in your store invoices to be 20 pixels high:

<script></script>
<style>
tr > td {
font-size: 20px !important;
}
</style>

6. Click Save when you're finished.

Note that any styling elements entered into article ID 84 will modify all invoices for your store.

Summary

Making your business as customer-friendly as possible will build better relationships and earn you long-term loyalty. 🤝 A simple thing such as increasing your font size on invoices can put customers at ease … and put money in your bank!  🏦
