You can even have sub-subcategories if you like, such as grouping a particular style by color, model or size.

Adding a Subcategory to a Category

To create a subcategory, you'll first need to create Categories. Once your categories are ready:

  1. Go to Inventory > Categories
  2. Hover over the category you want to add a subcategory to and click Add Subcategory
  3. Enter the subcategory name in the Category Name field
  4. Save

You can now expand your categories to see their subcategories on the category edit page.Β 

How to Display Subcategories

The way you display subcategories on the storefront category details page is up to you! You can display the category graphic or the category name, and you can display these at the top or side of the page.
