Shipping Labels

USPS

Volusion has basic shipping label printing for USPS available from the order processing page.

Advanced shipping labels are available to customers with access to the Volusion API (available on Pro, Premium, Gold, and Platinum monthly hosting plans). The Volusion API allows your store to integrate with third-party label printing programs such as Endicia Dazzle, Stamps.com, or TrueShip.

FedEx

FedEx shipping labels are available from the Volusion order processing page and do not require access to the Volusion API.

If you would like, you can use the Volusion API to format your FedEx labels by integrating with TrueShip.

DHL

DHL shipping labels are available from the Volusion order processing page and do not require access to the Volusion API.

UPS

UPS Shipping labels are not available from the Volusion order processing page. To print UPS-specific shipping labels, you must have access to the Volusion API and use a third-party program like TrueShip or UPS Worldship.

Storefront Display

USPS & FedEx

Rates display in a regular shipping selection menu and displaying the USPS or FedEx labels on your storefront is optional.

UPS

Rates on your storefront display in a separate UPS menu, with Other Carriers in a different menu. If you have UPS as your shipping carrier but also have other (non-UPS) shipping methods active, then by agreement the shipping rates for UPS must display in a separate menu.

Note that by agreement with UPS, the UPS logo is also required to display on your store's Shopping Cart.

Address Type

FedEx offers some address type-specific shipping methods to allow you more affordable shipping rates to business addresses.

Freight

FedEx offers shipping methods for freight-sized orders within the Shipping page in your Admin Area. USPS and UPS offer freight shipping that is not integrated with Volusion.
